“Music has the power of producing a certain effect on the moral character of the soul, and if it has the power to do this, it is clear that the young must be directed to music and must be educated in it.”

Charlotte Turner -Music Instructor

Charlotte loves to help students flourish in all areas of their lives as they actively participate in the creation of music. Singing in a group teaches students they must be responsible not only to learn their part, but also to blend with others, a skill they will utilize in all areas of their lives. They will exercise the ability to listen, learn and adjust on the spot. The instant feedback they receive from hearing good tone and harmony is an immediate reward. Earning a Summa cum Laude in her Music Education degree at Bethany College, Charlotte has gone on to teach a variety of classes to many age levels. She enjoys giving students a safe place to learn, try, fail, and ultimately succeed by helping kids gain excitement about learning, and gain confidence in their musical skills. She currently teaches music in both groups and in individual lessons. Although she has high expectations for her students to achieve, students find her to be generous and understanding.
